The Something New team was up to something extra special last week: Staff Christmas In July! It's our way of showing some appreciation for all the wonderful people that keep our boutique experience as stellar as it is, in addition to celebrating all the success of busy season together as a team.
Starting on Monday, our team kicked off the week with a staff meeting surprise, where we got crafty making bouquets and painting signs with SK Events and Sweetwater Flower Market! After getting our creativity flowing and our excited jitters out, we headed to the Flying Horse Club the following day. Tuesday morning was all about posh pampering, so of course, we had a spa day! After enjoying some much-appreciated massages and spa treatments, we splashed the afternoon away at the club's pool. A day full of fun activities under peak summertime sun tends to create quite an appetite, so we topped off the evening with a western-flair-inspired dinner at Mindi and Jordan's (our owners) home, complete with an awards ceremony and a celebration of Christmas in July! Our staff and their guests unwrapped their presents before we concluded the night with dancing and reminiscing.
